A Slice by Miss Amenta

Today Miss Bless came in to institute day with new thank you notes. They had colorful pineapples all over them. I got really excited and told her how much I love pineapples. I was telling her things I know about them, including the fact that they are an international sign of welcome. As we were walking down the hall, she started telling all the other teachers about how much I love pineapples. We saw Miss Brezek in the hall and Miss Bless told her about how I love pineapples. She immediately said, ” Did you know they’re an international sign of welcome?” I burst out laughing. It felt really good that she knew the same thing I did about pineapples and shared it with us.
